Flow of the Weekend
It's a full wedding weekend! We're getting married on Beloftebos' Paardenberg Farm in Stanford, with plenty of space to stay and nature to enjoy. Join us from Friday evening for a welcome braai. On Saturday morning we will have a casual farm walk or run, followed by coffee. The ceremony will begin on Saturday afternoon.
Farm Walk or Run & Coffee - 8am, Saturday

Cocktail Hour - 5:30pm, Saturday
Dinner & Speeches - 7:30pm, Saturday
Dessert & Dancing - 9:30pm, Saturday
Accommodation
Cottages
Cottages are available on Beloftebos farm as well as on Salmonsdam Nature Reserve. Rates are per cottage (not per person), so sharing is encouraged; please contact Christan and Lola if you are at all unsure about where to stay or if you would like us to organise for you to stay with someone else in the wedding party. Please book directly with Helen from Beloftebos (stay@paardenberg.co.za) or with Corneli from Salmonsdam Nature Reserve (info@campsalomon.com) and mention you're attending our wedding on 13 February 2027. There are plenty of other farms and Airbnbs in the area too, if you'd rather look around; these two are simply the most central to where the wedding weekend activities are happening.
Camping
If you'd prefer to camp, Beloftebos also offers camping at R175 per person per night. Just bring your own tent and let the venue know when booking so they can include you in the correct area for the weekend.
Things You May Be Wondering
The dresscode is summer smart. It's an outdoor forest ceremony, so comfortable shoes are a good idea for the grass and gravel.
February is peak Western Cape summer, warm and sunny, with an outside chance of wind. We've got a rain plan in place either way, so don't worry.
We've kept our wedding intimate, so we're only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation.
Nothing is compulsory! Friday evening's welcome braai and Saturday morning's farm walk or run are just there for anyone who'd like to spend more time with us over the weekend.
